Every year for the last 12 years, my husband, David and I, endeavor to bring fun to our Bedford neighborhood with our Halloween Decorations. It is a labor of love that has morphed from simple to an elaborate kid-friendly/adult friendly scene, with background music (played on Halloween night only) and us greeting the trick-or-treaters in costume. This year, we plan to have a “safe” Halloween, with appropriate Covid protocols in place. This picture is of the larger section of our front yard. The smaller section of our yard has knights fighting dragons. Here’s wishing everyone a Safe and Happy Halloween!

This is Kairo! A true superhero. He had surgery to reconstruct his fingers on his left hand just last week. He was born with only 3 fingers and they made him a thumb! He will be able to grasp things better as he gets older. This boy is undeniably fearless and strong! Happy Halloween  Submitted by Kairo’s Grammy Pam

I wanted to show y’all what my Father and I built for a successful ‘Social Distanced’ Halloween. It’s a replica set of ‘Dante’s Inferno Room’ from Beetlejuice on top of my carport at my East Fort Worth (C. Meadowbrook) home and we used a PVC pipe with a sculpted Sandworm to hand out candy. It was great.
