New Southwest Plane Flies by Love Field

A special new plane arrived at Dallas Love Field Wednesday afternoon before going in to service.

The "Missouri One," a Boeing 737-700 complete with specialized paint job, was unveiled in Kansas City, Missouri Wednesday morning.

It flew across the state to St. Louis then headed to Dallas.

The plane was welcomed at Southwest's Dallas headquarters and then was officially in service.

The plane is painted to look like it is wrapped in the Missouri state flag.

It's the 10th jet to be painted in honor of one of the states it serves, others include: Arizona One, California One, Colorado One, Florida One, Illinois One, Lone Star One (for Texas), Maryland One, Nevada One and New Mexico One.
