New Fire Chief Hired in Denton

Robin Paulsgrove will step in as the new Denton Fire Chief.

City Manager George Campbell made the announcement late Friday that the 40 year public service veteran had officially accepted the position.

He’s also served as Fire Chief in Austin where he began his career in 1976 before taking the top job in 1993.

Paulsgrove will replace former Denton Fire Chief Ross Chadwick who held the position for 19 years and chose to step down to pursue other goals in early June on his 67th birthday; according to our
partners at the Denton Record Chronicle.

Paulsgrove is a Certified Public Manager who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administration from Western Illinois University.

He will officially step into the position on October 13th.
