Police said a 22-year-old man was arrested after a motorcycle crash in Dallas that left a woman dead early Thursday morning.
Dallas police said the man was driving the motorcycle at a high rate of speed when it hit a curb in the 3500 block of West Davis Street at about 2:20 p.m.
The man and a female passenger fell off the motorcycle and came to rest in the center median of Fort Worth Avenue, according to authorities.
Police said the man and woman were transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where the woman was pronounced deceased.
The man was under the influence of alcohol, according to police, and was arrested for intoxication assault. He remains at the hospital under police guard.
