Man Sentenced for Sharing Child Porn from Library Computer

A West Texas sex offender has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after using a public library computer to share child pornography.

A federal prosecutor said 30-year-old Berry Miller received the punishment Thursday. He was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release following his prison time.

Miller pleaded guilty to the child pornography distribution charge in August. He was arrested after using computers at the El Paso Public Library in February to exchange pictures of children with other people, including an undercover agent.

Miller was previously convicted in El Paso County and added to the sex offender registry for indecency with an 8-year-old girl and online solicitation of a minor.
