Firefighters said lightning caused a fire at a Lewisville home early Monday morning.
Highland Village firefighters said they responded to a call about a fire at the house in the 3000 block of Mulholland Street at 12:23 a.m.
Firefighters said they located the seat of the fire in the attic and were able to knock it down with a water can.

No injuries were reported to the man, woman and two dogs inside the home, according to authorities.
The house sustained minor damage in the fire.
