Jury Selection Begins in AT&T Stadium Parking Lot Shooting Trial

The court is back to square one in the murder trial of a man accused of fatally shooting another man in the parking lot outside AT&T Stadium in October of 2015.

Marvin Rodrighuez is accused of killing 43-year-old Rick Sells, who is said to have been trying to break up a fight in the parking lot after a Cowboys game when he was shot.

Jury selection started Monday at the Tarrant County Courthouse, but the first pool of jurors was dismissed when not enough of them said they would consider the minimum sentence. A second pool of new possible jurors will face attorneys Tuesday.

Rodriguez has been charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
