Police are searching for a man who stole from a jewelry counter inside Southwest Center Mall.
According to surveillance video, it happened Jan. 2 at about 2:30 p.m.
The video showed a man wearing a black t-shirt with a white sweater prying open a jewelry case. At the same time, another person was busy talking to the salesman, police said.
The suspected thief lifted up the class casing, reached inside and stole property from the case, according to investigators.
Anyone with information on the incident was asked to call detective B. Avila at 214-671-0550.
