NBC DFW viewers have been sharing home surveillance videos capturing package thieves in action, in each case the crime happened in broad daylight but their methods of stealing vary.
Marianne Rogers hopes surveillance video helps track down the thief that stole a package off her doorstep in Plano.
"We were very shocked because he was so brazen he just came up there and got it and put it in his shirt and walked away," said Rogers.
After snatching the package the man calmly walks away.
"He was pretty careful about it,” said Rogers. “You could see him in the video walking up and down and kind of looking around.”
My Nguyen of Grand Prairie shared video of a package thief who took a package form his home in the High Hawk subdivision on Dec. 4.

The latest news from around North Texas.
Nguyen said the guy walked up to the home and swapped a package he stole from a neighbor for the package at his door. "Guess he didn't like the PJs he took," Nguyen said via email.
In the video the truck seems to have some distinct markings, including a damaged driver's side front quarter panel that appears to be primed and a silver gas cap cover.
Jason Noles shared a video of a package thief in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth.
Noles' video taken Dec. 8 shows a white SUV drive past his house, back up and stop, then a woman gets out.
The camera on the front porch shows a woman walking up to the porch carrying a package, she looks around, picks up the package at Noles' door, hides it behind the package she was carrying, pretends to knock on the door, then turns around and returns to her white SUV and drives away.
Police said it’s an ongoing problem that picks up around this time of year and everyone should track and guard their holiday purchases.
In all cases the homeowners' cameras were very high quality and police said that can help in catching the thieves. If you know anything about these crimes please call police.
