Frisco RoughRiders Honor Second Place Finishes

In the wake of Steve Harvey's infamous Miss Universe mix-up, The Frisco RoughRiders are holding an evening devoted to second place finishes for "Runner-Up Night" at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

Fans will get the chance to play games on the field and raffle prizes will go to second-place finishers. Among other nods is an in-park beauty pageant, which will be running throughout the game.

The Riders plan to formally reunite Ariadna Gutiérrez Arevalo, otherwise known as "Miss Colombia," as a VIP guest with Steve Harvey as an on-field host for the evening. Other second place finishers, such as Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken, Al Gore and Mitt Romney will be asked to attend.

Any fan who can prove a second-place finish in a beauty contest or pageant will also receive a free ticket to the game, which pins the RoughRiders against the San Antonio Missions.

The "Runner-Up Night" is scheduled for Tuesday, Apr. 26, which is the second game of the second homestand in the Riders' 2016 season.
