Frisco police said they were called to an apartment complex on the 3100 block of Parkwood Boulevard at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a woman being held against her will by a man.
Upon arrival, officers tried to make contact with people inside the apartment. Nearby residents were evacuated and police said they called in a special operations unit and crisis negotiators.
At about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, police said the woman was released from the apartment. She was not harmed.
About an hour later, police said the man — later identified as 32-year-old Fredrich Henry — exited the apartment. Henry had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.
Frisco police said they are investigating the incident and could file charges.
