Fort Worth police say an Uber driver helped locate a 10-year-old boy reported missing Sunday night.
A police spokesman confirmed at about 3 a.m. the driver spotted by boy in an undisclosed location in downtown Fort Worth. The child appeared unharmed, police said.
Evan Banda was reported missing after being seen in the 8800 block of Elk Creek Lane around 7 p.m. Sunday, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Police said he climbed out a window of the home with a backpack.
Police began to search the area near the home and in wooded areas nearby.
