A 24-year-old man is dead after his father shot him during an argument Jan. 25 in Fort Worth, police say.

Officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Coach House Circle, south of White Settlement Road and west of W. Loop 820, at about 12:30 p.m., police said.

The 24-year-old was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

He was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner's office as Michael Alexander Bush.

Police said detectives found that the father and son were engaged in a "domestic disturbance," during which the father shot the son.

Police initially said that the shooter fled the scene, but later said the father remained on the scene and called 911 to report the shooting.

No arrests have been made, according to police.
