The Forney Police Department now has an "Exchange Zone" where people can meet up for online exchanges safely.
The Exchange Zone is in the Forney Justice Center's parking lot, which is recorded 24-hours-a-day be surveillance cameras.
Police say this is a safer alternative for people who are buying and selling items on Facebook and Craigslist and might otherwise meet up at gas stations, shopping centers or private homes.
