Firefighters in Garland battled a fire at an apartment complex in Garland Friday morning.
Crews were called to the Bay Island apartments at about 7 a.m.
Officials said the building was safely evacuated and no one was injured.
Video from Chopper 5 showed flames and smoke shooting from the roof.
