Police say the bodies of a father and son have been recovered after both accidentally drowned during a Southeast Texas fishing trip.
Port Arthur police say searchers Wednesday morning located the body of 34-year-old Carlos Thomas of Manor.
Some people in a kayak on Tuesday discovered a body near Sabine Pass . Police identified that victim as 61-year-old Floyd Thomas Jr. of Beaumont.
Maj. Raymond Clark says it appears both men drowned in a tragic accident.
The search began when a truck was found near the Sabine Pass jetty with evidence that two men went fishing but neither could be located.
