A father and child were swept into water Wednesday, according to the Dallas Fire Department.
The stepfather and son were able to get out after being taken downstream in the 9700 block of Walnut Hill Lane.
Units were dispatched to the call shortly before 6 p.m. Four units arrived at the scene to assist in the incident.
