Extra Security at Boles Junior High in Arlington Wednesday

Students headed to class at Boles Junior High in Arlington saw an extra police presence Wednesday.

The added security follows a threat found Tuesday in the girls' bathroom claiming a shooting was going to happen Wednesday.

The Arlington Independent School District and Arlington police said there was no credible threat, but security was added as a precaution.

The threat against Boles Junior High is the fourth in the Arlington school district in the last two months.

Other threats were made against Bowie High School, Sam Houston High School and Lamar High School.

Threats to those schools were made through social media.

Police have made arrests in all of those cases.
