Day Care Owner Near Georgetown Charged in Baby's Death

The owner of a day care center near Georgetown faces charges in the death of a baby at her business.

Officials say Holly Harrison is charged with injury to a child and tampering with physical evidence.
Georgetown Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to All About Kids daycare in Williamson County around 10:30 a.m. Jan. 13.

Officials say 5-month-old Brody Havins choked on a mitten. Autopsy results are pending.

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services says Harrison voluntarily agreed to stop caring for children after the boy's death.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Child Care Licensing are investigating the incident.

Harrison was booked into the Williamson County Jail on Tuesday and was bonded out Wednesday. It wasn't immediately clear if she has an attorney.
