Authorities said the DART Rail Green Line was not operating between the Bachman and North Carrollton/Frankford stations after lightning struck near the Downtown Carrollton Station in the 1000 block of North Denton Road just before midnight Thursday.
DART officials said Friday morning that repairs were completed and the line was reopened.
Lightning strikes also damaged two trains, officials said.
Buses replaced the line in the affected area while repairs were made.
