Dallas Police Officers arrested one of their own on Saturday.
Officer Richard Council was arrested for family violence assault and for interfering with an emergency call.
Officer Council has worked for the Dallas Police Department for three years and is currently assigned to the Northwest patrol division.
Officer Council is currently on administrative leave as the department conducts an internal affairs investigation.
