Dallas Police Arrest Four People Suspected in Multiple Robberies After Chase

Police said they arrested four people suspected in multiple robberies in Dallas after a pursuit early Friday morning.

Dallas police said they tried to stop a white pickup truck suspected in two robberies at about 12:30 a.m., but the driver refused.

The driver led police on a chase beginning near El Centro Drive and ending in the 3600 block of La Joya Drive. Police said the driver ran from the truck after stopping.

Police said they apprehended two males and one female inside the pickup, some of whom were juveniles. Officers also recovered two handguns and a cell phone that were thrown from the truck.

A short time later, police said they took the driver into custody.

Police said the four people arrested were suspected in robberies that occurred on Valley Meadow Drive and Lombardy Lane before the chase and possibly connected to several robberies during the past few weeks.
