Dallas police reported that one of their own was arrested for an offense in Ellis County.
On its Dallas police Facebook page, the department reported Sr. Corporal Keith Huber surrendered at the Ellis County Sheriff's Department for a crime that occured on Sept. 26.
Huber was charged with a misdemeanor -- assault causing bodily injury. No other details of the crime were released.
Huber has been with Dallas police for 16 years.
The Dallas Police Department placed Huber on adminstrative leave.
