Butterflies in the Garden Exhibit Opens in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT®), the Fort Worth Garden Club and the Fort Worth Botanical Society announce the opening of “Butterflies in the Garden, The Mayan Experience,” the largest exhibit of live, exotic butterflies in North Texas.

During the exhibit, approximately 10,000, exotic butterflies will be released in the conservatory.

Butterflies in the Garden

People have a chance to walk among the fluttering butterflies of many sizes and striking colors -- maybe even watch a beautiful butterfly land on their own finger!

Watch the butterflies eat from fruit trays located throughout the lush garden exhibit and learn more about each butterfly species and their life cycles from knowledgeable exhibit volunteers inside the garden area.
