Bull Playing Hide and Seek

Sly bull eludes capture in Grand Prairie

A wily bull today eluded attempts to capture him in Grand Prairie.

He escaped points unknown, meandered along Interstate 30, took the exit at Belt Line Road -- after properly using his signal, so points for that -- and headed to a brushy area near Noki… sorry, Verizon Theatre, and laid low in the shadows.

Can you spot the bull? No, this isn’t it, you’re thinking of a two-word phrase that starts with “bull.” Look at the picture.

Anyway, the folks at Lone Star Park said, paraphrasing, “Nope, not our bull; we just have horses, but we’ll help try to catch him,” which was nice of them to offer.

At one point, wranglers caught the wayward bovine and penned him. The bull shrugged his big bull shoulders, jumped the fence and took off again.

Nothing like a game of cat-and-mouse with an animal that weighs maybe 1,500 pounds, and mind those horns.

UPDATE: The bull hasn't been seen since he ran off.
