A large brush fire burned for approximately three hours in Fort Worth near Benbrook Lake Wednesday afternoon, officials say.
The Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed the blaze, which started around 3:20 p.m., grew to a three-alarm fire by 4:30 p.m.
The fire department tweeted just before 6:30 p.m. that the fire was contained and it was working to put out hotspots.
