Mary Moore Elementary School in Arlington reopens Friday after being closed Thursday because of a power outage. [[367635341,C]]
The power outage was caused by downed power lines, according to Arlington Independent School District spokeswoman Leslie Johnston. Officials estimated that power would be restored by noon Thursday.
Arlington police said a vehicle crashed into the pole at about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Johnston said the school's staff should report to the district Professional Development Center.
