A man is charged with murder for allegedly running over a woman with his car during an argument in Amarillo.
Ralph Owens was being held without bond Tuesday in Potter County on charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Amarillo police say they found the body of 27-year-old Kristen King under a car Monday afternoon after a caller alerted authorities that a person was trying to run someone over with a vehicle. Police say another woman was hit by the vehicle but will survive.
Police didn't say what prompted the disturbance or specify the relationship between the 28-year-old Owens and the victims.
No attorney was listed to speak for Owens.
