A Texas fan at this year's Red River Rivalry made it inside the Cotton Bowl thanks to an Oklahoma fan he had never met before the big game.
Jim Robertson has been going to Longhorn games for five decades. But as the years go by, it gets a little harder -- especially this year.
"We had already struggled to the stadium as it was," said his daughter, Jana.
They had to stop several times because the long walk wore him out. Then, he had to enter at Gate G, and the long walk became a climb.
"I looked up there, and it went straight up with little short steps and no side rails," Jim Robertson said. "How was I going to go up that thing?"
But then, somebody grabbed his arm -- and it was a fan of the rival Oklahoma Sooners.
Jana Robertson, who couldn't help him up by herself, got tears.

"It was very moving to see someone care that much for my father," she said.
Afterward, they got a picture. Later, the Robertsons realized they wanted to do more, but they only know his first name: Jarrod.
"I just want to thank him for the display of love and caring for a complete stranger -- and a Longhorn, no less," Jana Robertson said.
She posted about it on Facebook and discovered she and Jarrod Tahsequah had a mutual friend. They exchanged messages and, on Thursday, they were finally able to connect and video chat.
"I didn't see a red shirt or an orange shirt; I just saw somebody that needed assistance," Tahsequah said.
They all plan to stay in touch -- and meet next year at Gate G.
