The westbound lanes of Interstate 635 in Garland were closed overnight after a woman was fatally struck by a car.
The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. near Garland Road, police said. A woman, who hasn't yet been identified, was trying to cross the freeway when she was struck by a vehicle.
The driver pulled over and was cooperating with police in their investigation, which is ongoing, police said.
All lanes were reopened early Friday morning.
