Richardson police say one person was shot and killed late Sunday night behind the Ice Training Center located in the 500 block of Centennial Boulevard.
Police say they received 911 calls after residents in the area heard the gunfire. When they arrived they found a male in his late teens or early 20s, who had been shot.
Investigators say the victim and the suspects appeared to have known each other and there is no threat to the public due to this shooting.
Officers also say the shooting has nothing to do with the Ice Skating rink. The name of the victim has not been released.
Police are questioning several people in this case who were detained right after the shooting took place.
