One Hospitalized After Bees Attack

At least four people have been attacked by bees near a West Texas convenience store and emergency personnel transported one victim to a hospital.

San Angelo police say the incident happened Wednesday morning. Officer Tracy Gonzalez says police received a call from a woman who reported a 54-year-old man was being attacked by a swarm of bees.

Emergency personnel arrived to find at least four people had been attacked. The severely injured man was transported to a hospital.

His name and further details on his condition weren't immediately released.

Gonzalez says the other people who suffered stings may have sought medical treatment on their own.
