Rapper and singer-songwriter Nicki Minaj was reportedly struck during an altercation at a Dallas hotel Monday night.
The platinum-selling "Pink Friday" artist is on tour with Britney Spears and is in town for Tuesday night's show at the American Airlines Center.
According to TMZ.com, Minaj got into an argument at the Palomar Hotel's pool with a man. She told police he struck her in her lower lip when the argument continued in their hotel room, TMZ said.
TMZ said the BET Award winner told officers that she is not in a relationship with the man and did not want to press charges.
Dallas police told the Dallas Observer that a police report of the incident is not available because no charges are being pressed.
