A man was taken to a Fort Worth hospital after being struck on East Loop 820 Wednesday evening, medics say.
The man, later identified as 53-year-old Claude Holman, was struck by several vehicles at about 7:15 p.m. on Loop 820 near the Berry Street exit, authorities reported.
Holman was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital with critical injuries, medics said. He died a short time later.
Northbound lanes of Loop 820 were closed at Berry Street as emergency crews worked at the scene. All lanes reopened at about 10 p.m.
