Dallas police said they are searching for the man responsible for robbing a store and shooting outside a Lake Highlands convenience store.
Officers responded to The C Store in the 9900 block of White Hurst Drive at 10:48 p.m. and found a man with gunshot wounds on his arm and abdomen, police said.
Police said the man was leaving the convenience store when a black man wearing a white shirt and shorts tried to rob him. The two struggled before the man shot the victim and stole his wallet.
The victim went to his apartment about a block away where he called for help. He was taken to Baylor Medical Center at Garland in serious condition.
