One person was shot Monday morning while trying to burglarize a home on the 2400-block of Hunting Drive, police say.
Investigators said the homeowner shot the man as he attempted to burglarize the home.
The man then fled the scene in a getaway car before being dropped off for treatment at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. His condition and identity are not yet known.
The getaway vehicle was recovered in east Fort Worth near Stalcup and Berry. Officials are interviewing two people at that location.
An investigation into the shooting and attempted burglary is ongoing.
