Man Accused of Indecency to Texas Police Worker

A man has been charged with indecent exposure in an alleged incident involving a uniformed Corpus Christi police employee in the department parking lot.

Nueces County jail records show 29-year-old David James was being held Thursday with bond set at $500.

Jail records do not list an attorney for James, who was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly exposed himself to the female police department worker. Authorities say the 31-year-old employee got into the van and she used the police radio to summon officers, who arrested James.

Indecent exposure is a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of no more than $2,000.
