Garland Fire Department officials said a fire at an apartment complex displaced 19 residents Tuesday morning.
Garland Capt. Merrill Balanciere said they're still investigating what caused the fire that damaged 16 residences at The Broadway Apartments at 5106 Broadway Blvd. at about 4:10 a.m.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents, officials said.
No one was injured in the fire, Balanciere said.
