Ex-Dallas School Bus Monitor Sues Over Urination

Attorney says man has medical issues

Dallas County Schools has been sued by a former bus monitor who says he was fired after accidentally urinating on himself.

An attorney for Paul Green says his client has medical issues and the August 2011 incident happened when a bus driver refused to make a bathroom stop. No students were on the bus.

Green was taking diuretics during treatment for congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and colon cancer. His lawsuit filed last month alleges retaliation and seeks unspecified damages.

Dallas County Schools, which in its termination notice said Green engaged in unprofessional conduct on the bus, declined comment Tuesday. Documents also indicate Green relieved himself in a water bottle and he allegedly assisted a child who boarded after his urination accident.

DCS provides transportation and other school services.
