Police said they arrested a 35-year-old Arlington man who crashed a van into multiple buildings during a chase through Hurst Friday morning.
Hurst police said they responded to a call about a van crashing into an apartment in the 600 block of Bellaire Drive at 7:12 a.m. The caller said the driver damaged the apartment and drove away.
Officers found the van after the driver struck a home in the 600 block of Terry Road. The home's residents were asleep at the time of the crash.
Police said the driver refused to stop and a brief chase ensued. [[363981741,C]]
The driver stopped the van in the 700 block of West Pipeline Road and was taken into custody, according to police. Officers took a breath sample from the driver and results are pending.
No injuries were reported during the pursuit.
