A Dallas police officer accused of sexual assault has been no-billed by a Dallas County grand jury.
In June 2013 Mesquite police said Dallas Police Officer Edward Antunez was accused in a sexual assault alleged to have taken place March 13, 2013.
Officials said the victim was someone one the officer knew, but refused to release any further details about the case because it involved a sex crime.
Antunez posted bond and was released.
A Dallas County grand jury did not find sufficient evidence to take the case to trial and declined to indict Antunez.
