2 Injured in Shooting at Mansfield Activities Center
Mansfield police said two people were shot at a birthday party early Sunday morning. Investigators said the shooting occurred at the Activities Center in the 100 block of South Wisteria Street just after midnight. The center was rented out for the party, and shots were fired when the attendees were starting to leave. The two people who were injured are expected to recover.

Driver Arrested on Suspicion of Intoxication Manslaughter
Fort Worth police said a 24-year-old Wichita Falls woman was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. A white car rear-ended another vehicle at University Drive and West Seventh Street just after 3 a.m. Renee Horton, a passenger in the vehicle that was hit, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Police said an officer had earlier clocked the white car as going 53 mph in a 40-mph zone but lost sight of it. The driver was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. The driver of the white car, a passenger in the white car and the driver of the car that was hit were injured.
