Firefighters with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport were called to assist an inbound American Eagle flight Tuesday afternoon.
According to airline officials, an indicator light on Flight 2991 from Grand Junction, Colo., indicated a possible electrical fire.
The plane landed shortly before 3 p.m. and was met by airport emergency crews. Several fire trucks responded to the call and surrounded the aircraft on the taxiway and firefighters could be seen walking around the Embraer-145LR, near the engines.
After a short inspection, officials said no evidence of fire was found. The plane was cleared and allowed to continue to Terminal B, escorted by six DFW emergency vehicles.
