Two North Texas cities are getting huge revenues in sales taxes for August.
The State Comptroller's office said a utility company owed both Colleyville and Fort Worth were owed money in back taxes.
Colleyville received more than $200,000 in back taxes.
While $200,000 is nothing to sneeze at, Fort Worth as the big winner with a whopping $1.8 million. That amount wiped out the 3 percent sales tax drop the city expected.
