55-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Home: Carrollton Police

Police said a 55-year-old man was found dead inside his Carrollton home Wednesday night. [[340541492,C]]

Carrollton police said they performed a welfare check at the home of Steve Lehman in the 2000 block of East Peters Colony Road at 5:13 p.m. after Lehman's family called because he didn't show up for work.

Officers told NBC 5 there were obvious signs of a struggle inside the residence and they are investigating the death as a homicide.

"They’ve been taking pictures, talking to neighbors, processing this scene, trying to figure out what happened," Carrollton Police Department spokeswoman Jolene DeVito said. "We’ll stay on this path until we find the end of it. Until we make an arrest."
