Authorities Investigate 3 North Texas Bank Robberies

Federal agents and local police said they're looking for the people responsible for three North Texas bank robberies Thursday.

The first robbery happened just after 10 a.m. at a Frost Bank in the 11700 block of Plano Road. Police said a man gave the cashier a note demanding money and hinted that he had a gun. The man left without taking money when the cashier took too long.

Then, 19 minutes later, a man gave a Bank of Texas cashier a note demanding money three miles away in the 1600 block of East Belt Line Road in Richardson.

Less than three hours later, a man walked into a Frost Bank in the 700 block of Main Street, showed a gun to the teller and demanded money. He then forced all the tellers into the restroom and left.

The FBI and North Texas police are investigating whether all three robberies are connected.
