Arlington Police Looking for Man Behind Two Holdups

Investigators are seeking a man suspected of holding up two North Texas banks within a 15-minute period and possibly casing another location.

Arlington police on Tuesday said nobody was hurt in the bank robberies at separate grocery stores.

Police say the first holdup happened around 1 p.m. Monday A man in his late teens or early 20s and wearing a zip-up sweatshirt and a cap claimed to have a gun, handed a note to a teller and demanded cash. He left with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say minutes later a man with a similar description robbed another bank, again stealing some cash.

Arlington police say employees of another bank earlier Monday afternoon reported a suspicious man matching the same description, but he left without incident.
