Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teens, but AAA Texas is looking to solve some of the problems by helping parents and teenagers prepare for the road ahead.
The organization is holding a free "Dare to Prepare" workshop Wednesday evening to cover state requirements for getting a learner's permit and license and they'll offer help to parents and teachers to improve their work during the process of learning to drive.
The workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the Lively Pointe Youth Center in Irving.
