Authorities are investigating the deaths of three people in Azle Monday as a double murder-suicide, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
The three victims, two adults and one teenager, were all related, the sheriff's office said. Authorities identified the adults, who were murdered, as Xiumei Shi Ryan, 54, and Harley W. Ryan, 58.
The 16-year-old, Suayng Qu, died by suicide, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said.
The double murder-suicide happened in the 1500 block of Red Oak Circle, southwest of Eagle Mountain Lake, just before 5 p.m. Monday, the sheriff's office said.
Sheriff's spokesman David McClelland said investigators initially treated the case as a triple homicide, but said Monday night the investigation had the potential to transition to a double murder-suicide.
