Investigators say three residents are unaccounted for following a fire at some Southeast Texas apartments.
Firefighters responded to a blaze Saturday morning in Crosby, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Houston.
Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Thomas Gilliland says an elderly female, a woman and a boy were unaccounted for following the fire. Gilliland had no immediate additional information amid the search for the three residents.
Authorities are trying to determine what sparked the fire reported around 6:15 a.m. Saturday. Officials say the blaze was brought under control by midmorning.
